Due Date Calculator
Pregnancy due date & week tracker
Enter the first day of your last period, not the last day.
Medical Disclaimer
This calculator provides estimates only. Due dates are based on Naegele's Rule (40 weeks from LMP) and assume a 28-day cycle. Your healthcare provider may adjust your due date based on ultrasound measurements. Only about 5% of babies arrive on their exact due date—most are born within 2 weeks before or after.
How to Use the Due Date Calculator
Our pregnancy due date calculator estimates your baby's arrival date based on the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). See your current week, trimester, estimated conception date, and countdown to your due date.
How It Works
Pregnancy is typically calculated as 40 weeks (280 days) from the first day of your last menstrual period. This is called Naegele's Rule. Actual conception usually occurs about 2 weeks after LMP during ovulation.
What You'll See
- Due Date: Estimated date of delivery (EDD)
- Current Week: How far along you are (weeks + days)
- Trimester: First (weeks 1-12), Second (13-26), or Third (27-40)
- Conception Date: Estimated date of conception (LMP + 14 days)
- Days Remaining: Countdown to your due date
Understanding Trimesters
- First Trimester (Weeks 1-12): Major organs form, morning sickness common
- Second Trimester (Weeks 13-26): Baby grows rapidly, movement felt
- Third Trimester (Weeks 27-40): Final growth, preparation for birth
Important Notes
- Due dates are estimates—only about 5% of babies arrive on their exact due date
- Most births occur within 2 weeks before or after the due date
- Your healthcare provider may adjust your due date based on ultrasound measurements
- This calculator assumes a typical 28-day cycle with ovulation on day 14
