Understanding the Calculation
We calculate the difference using the Gregorian calendar, properly handling leap years (years divisible by 4, except century years not divisible by 400). February has 29 days in leap years: 2024, 2028, 2032, etc.

Including vs Excluding End Date
By default, we count the days between (exclusive). Toggle "Include end date" if you want to count both start and end dates. For example, Monday to Wednesday is 2 days between, or 3 days including both.
